One of the biggest ways we raise money with the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite Fundraiser is with our annual raffle that we host during Christmas in Edgartown, and this year will not disappoint.
Hope you’re Hungry!!
Let’s start with one of my favorite raffle items ever – the Island Restaurant Package. We have continued to grow this – from 14 restaurants to 17 to now 24!!!! Yes my friends, you can win 24 gift certificates with one raffle ticket. Since it’s the fifth year for the Island Restaurant Package, we had to go big, and this year it’s pretty awesome.
We are lucky to have so many generous Island businesses and great restaurants. This year, the gift certificates range in value. Most are $25, but we have a $50 from Art Cliff Diner and Edgartown Diner, $75 from l’etoile, and a $150 from Down Island!!
Ready for this list of participating restaurants? Here you go: Down Island, The Terrace at the Charlotte Inn, Mocha Motts, Henry’s, l’etoile, Lucky Hank’s, Art Cliff Diner, Edgartown Diner, Atlantic, Port Hunter, Offshore Ale, Edgartown Meat & Fish, The Lookout, Oceanview, Fishbones, Atria, The Newes, Rosewater, Sharky’s, Copper Wok, Martha’s Vineyard Chowder Company, Wolf’s Den (don’t forget they now have an Edgartown location), Behind the Bookstore, Isola.
This incredible collection only comes but once a year, from the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite Fundraiser, during Christmas in Edgartown! Get your tickets this weekend and get the gift that really keeps on giving, 24 times to be exact! Think of the fun you can have this Winter, and the anticipation of waiting for some of these favorite spots to open in the Spring.
Maybe next year we can do 30! Value $825
Last year, CB Stark donated a matching mother, child set of their popular Island Ties bracelets. This year, we brought them back again, because of course, they were a very popular raffle item. Such an amazing gift, you can wear these bracelets every day, and have a piece of the Island with you.
As the seasons change, so do the bands. You can coordinate colors with your mood, the time of year, or whatever might be your favorite at the moment.
Receiving these bracelets as a gift would be sure to delight. They can be yours, but only if you enter to win! Don’t forget that both CB Stark locations — Edgartown and Vineyard Haven — are open for the holidays. Value $250.
North Water Gallery has donated a perfect item for the home. Every time I go into this gallery in Edgartown, I admire the Horseshoe Crabs. I think these sea creatures are pretty amazing.
The horseshoe crab is a ceramic made by Nantucket artist Mark Rea who was captivated by these crabs all while growing up. He has been able to capture the simple beauty lines in his creations.
This handmade piece is the perfect addition to your home — whether on Island or off — and can serve as a reminder of the Island where we find horse crab shells along many of our shores. If the color isn’t right, North Water Gallery manager, Robin Morse Nagle can help. Value $100.
Where To Get The Magic Tickets
You can get your raffle tickets in the lobby of the Harbor View Hotel on Friday night, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Mini Park on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and back at the Harbor View Hotel on Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite is more than an enchanting world of holiday magic and warm, fuzzy teddy bears. It’s fun with a purpose. It’s an important fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club. This year, with your help, we’re hoping to raise $15,000 for the Club’s Happy Healthy Kids (H2K), an initiative to address childhood hunger on the Island.
Can’t make it to see the teddy bears but want to help? No problem, simply click here to donate online and make a difference in a child’s life.
For Christmas in Edgartown, the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite at the Harbor View Hotel has extended hours.
