Teddies Around Town Photo Contest Finale – As Teddies Around Town gets ready to wrap up at the end of the week, there is still time to participate in this new Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite Fundraising fun and awareness building campaign.

Find your favorite #mvteddybearsuite bear at participating Edgartown businesses, and snap a great, festive fun picture with a bear or two. There are special Instagram photo frames at all the locations. You can win Teddies Around Town Photo prizes and help end childhood hunger on Martha’s Vineyard by supporting the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club.

Teddies Around Town Photo Hashtags

Have some fun, use the photo frames, plus use our hashtags: #mvteddybearsuite, #teddiesaroundtown, #mvboysandgirlsclub, #christmasinedgartown. There will be prizes awarded in two Teddies Around Town Photo categories — those who visit and shoot pictures at the most locations AND most popular photo overall. You’ve got to use the hashtags and post to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, to be in the running. 

Businesses have incentive as well. The one with the most likes and the one that raises the most money win prizes as well. Some of the bears have gone back into hibernation already (businesses are closed for the season).

Healthy Happy Kids Fundraiser

You can have a lot of fun with the Teddies Around Town Photo Contest. We bet that you will recognize a number of these bears from the #mvteddybearsuite. Don’t forget that this is a fundraiser for the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club Healthy Happy Kids program, the vital after school food program created to address childhood hunger and food scarcity on the Island. It now serves one in three public school children K-8 and is making a big difference.

Next to or in close proximity to the #teddiesaroundtown, you will find a donation box for the Boys & Girls Club. If you can, please donate. We have now raised more than $28,200 so far in our drive for $45,000 — enough to pay for an entire year of Healthy Happy Kids.

The winners will receive a bag of goodies from popular Martha’s Vineyard shop Slip 77, including a hat, a signature Slip 77 candle, a really cool tote that is made from recycled plastic water bottles and more! If you can’t visit any of the Teddies Around Town pop-up locations, we welcome your donations online. Our goal this year is $45,000 — enough to fund this vital program for another year. By midday, we had raised $28,000 so far. Donate now
