Thanks to your incredible generosity, the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite raised $50,227 in support of the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club’s Beyond the Bell Program! We are beyond grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, visited, and shared in this effort.
Beyond the Bell directly addresses food insecurity on Martha’s Vineyard by providing critical resources to Island children and families, including healthy snacks, grab-and-go meals, fresh produce, and non-perishable items through the Blue Door Pantry.
This comprehensive food security program is making a real and measurable difference:
🥪 1,000 healthy snacks provided each week
🍽️ Approximately 450 meals served each month
🥕 Fresh fruits and vegetables distributed weekly through partnerships with local farms and suppliers
🛒 The Blue Door Pantry supports 40–50 families every month with shelf-stable foods and essentials to help keep pantries full during challenging times
This success is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together. Your support ensures that Island families have consistent access to nourishing food—and the care, dignity, and stability that comes with it.

The Point B 50% Match for the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite has been an incredible success, and we’re so grateful for the community’s generosity. This vital fundraiser supports the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club’s Beyond the Bell Food Security Program, which continues to meet a growing and urgent need on the Island.
Thanks to this program, children and families receive free meals, snacks, and meals-to-go, ensuring no child goes hungry. As membership continues to grow, so does the impact—today, the Club is:
- Rescuing and redistributing 1,000 pounds of food every week from Island grocers, markets, and farms
- Providing 1,000 healthy snacks each week
- Serving approximately 450 meals every month
- Offering family meal kits and operating the Blue Door Pantry, which supports 40–50 families each month with food, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and essential necessities
What began as a food program has grown into a comprehensive safety net—one that truly makes a difference for Island families. The Boys & Girls Club has become a cornerstone of youth support on Martha’s Vineyard, and we are proud to stand behind this life-changing work.
