November 28 – Online Donation Site Launches + Name The New Bear

A new PayPal online donation site is now live for the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite.

Name Game: Help us name our new Big Bear. Each year, a new Big Bear joins the Teddy Bear Suite family, and we rely on our fans and followers to join in the fun. Vote here on the blog or on our Facebook page.

December 1 – Hot Teddy Fundraising Craft Cocktail 

Four dollars from each Hot Teddy cocktail sold at Henry’s Bar in the Harbor View Hotel will be donated to the Teddy Bear Suite Fundraiser. The custom craft cocktail take on the classic Hot Toddy is the featured drink special through the end of December.

December 2 – Teddy Bear Suite Opening Day

New Big Bear name votes are counted, and we reveal the name for our newest Big Bear.

Doors open to the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite in its new home, at the Harbor View Hotel’s Captain Collins Cottage Suite #20. 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

December 3 – Teddy Bear Suite Weekend Hours

Harbor View Hotel Captain Collins Cottage Suite #20. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

December 4 – Teddy Bear Suite | Teddy Bear Brunch | Henry The Bear

Teddy Bear Suite Hours: Harbor View Hotel Captain Collins Cottage Suite #20. 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Teddy Bear Brunch: Children 12 and under eat brunch for free, if they bring their teddy bear along. Limit two kids per paying adult. Lighthouse Grill restaurant, Harbor View Hotel. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Henry, the Harbor View’s special fundraising bear, will be available for purchase at the brunch as well, 50% of the money raised will go to the Teddy Bear Suite fundraiser.

December 10 – Christmas In Edgartown Parade, Photos, Hours

Teddy Bear Caravan (three convertible Mini Coopers with Big Bears) joins the large Christmas In Edgartown parade. Watch for our gummy teddy bear treats! Main Street in Edgartown 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Teddy Bear Suite Hours: Harbor View Hotel Captain Collins Cottage Suite #20. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Pictures with Santa by Vineyard Selfies, all proceeds from the pictures will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club. Harbor View Hotel lobby 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

MV Teddy Bear Suite Raffle – Raffle tickets will be available during Christmas In Edgartown festivities at the Mini Park off Main Street in Edgartown 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

December 11 – Teddy Bear Trot 5k Run

Teddy Bear Suite hours: Harbor View Hotel Captain Collins Cottage Suite #20. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

MV Teddy Bear Suite Raffle – Raffle tickets will be available in the lobby of the Harbor View Hotel.

Teddy Bear Trot Holiday 5K Run & Walk Fundraiser – Fun Run and Timed Run to raise money for the MV Boys & Girls Club. Race will begin and end at Harbor View Hotel. Registration is $15 day of the race. Registration begins at 9 a.m. One mile Fun Run begins at 9:45 a.m., timed 5 K Run at 10 a.m. Creative running costumes encouraged!
